Online agency easyProperty yesterday launched its residential sales service on the easyProperty.com website, with news that a ‘soft launch’ was being embarked on from yesterday ahead agreed start to the service next month.

For the last 11 months, easyProperty has been running an online lettings service with the industry waiting to see what impact they would make when they decided to get into sales.

As mentioned in yesterday blog, the website indicates that the firm now offers vendors three flat-fee packages costing from £475 to £1,500 including VAT.

Earlier in the year the agency told Reuters that it planned an Initial Public Offering in the second half of 2015 to raise funds for its development. This was quoted as seeking funds “significantly larger” than the £9.75m they raised last autumn which was £66m.

easyProperty advertises residential lets on Rightmove and Zoopla, and they also advertise commercial lets on PropertyLink and MoveHut in addition to its own website. Their ultimate intention is to enter the online room rentals and property auctions sectors, as well as expand property markets of European countries such as France, Germany, Greece and the Netherlands.
